Corey Taylor soolokeikkaili Lontoossa – Tapahtumasta tulossa ”Live in London”-DVD

Slipknotista ja Stone Sourista tunnettu Corey Taylor julkaisee DVD:n akustisesta keikastaan, jonka hän soitti Lontoon Koko:ssa 8. toukokuuta, vuonna 2016. Nyt kyseisestä konsertista on tulossa live-DVD ja sen on määrä ilmestyä joulukuun 18. päivä, 2017. Kyseinen livetaltiointi tulee saataville miehen nettisivuille.

Jokin aika sitten Taylor selitti, miltä hänen sooloalbuminsa saattaisi kuullostaa.

”For me, the stuff that I write is, it would be like a cross between the Foo Fighters,Social and The Replacements, you know. I mean, real Midwestern rock. Real, just open chords, good time rock, you know. And damn the critics, basically. That’s the stuff I write and that’s the stuff I’ve always tried to write.”

Mies on myös maininnut halustaan tehdä yhteistyötä myös muiden musiikkigenrejen edustajien kanssa. Yhdeksi esimerkiksi Taylor mainitsee Eminemin:

”I would love to trade some stuff back and forth with him, because I love the way he writes and the way he flows and the attitude, the emotion that’s in it. And I’m very, very attracted to that.”
