Vaikutteeni albumeina: Mark ”Barney” Greenway (Napalm Death)
Englantilainen grindcore -pioneeri Napalm Death julkaisee uuden albuminsa nimeltä ”Apex Predator – Easy Meat” 26. päivä tammikuuta Century Media Recordsin kautta. Kaaoszine pyysi yhtyeen vokalistia Mark ”Barney” Greenwayta listaamaan meille viisi albumia, jotka ovat toimineet miehen suurimpana musiikillisena vaikutteena. 1. Motörhead – ”Ace Of Spades”:

”For me it was the beginning of extreme music. Allthough ”Motörhead” and ”Overkill” albums were released before and great this is an album that represents everything that is so fucking classic about that band. It is my favorite album ever I could say.”
2. Discharge – ”Why?”:
”It has the similar kind of raw attitude that we have wanted to have in Napalm Death. Kind of attitude to beat the shit out from the instruments.”

3. Celtic Frost – ”To Mega Therion”:
”Celtic Frost has been a huge influence on Napalm Death. There are few albums in this life that you could say have been constructed in a pure genious way and this is one of them. The song writing plus the extra instrumentation combined with the female vocals and the artwork. Pure fucking genious.”
4. Swans – ”Cop”:
”From my own perspective there are a lot of bands there that try to do that drony stuff but none of them are as good as Swans. They manage to deliver miserable noise that is just truly fucking desperate. They are just kings in their own game. If you put this album on your CD-player and try to listen to it on high volume even though I am a fan of the band it is still pretty hard.”

5. Siege – ”Drop Dead”:
”This album comes from the very inspiring time of hardcore which is early to mid 80´s. This album is just like 10 minutes of pure chaos. Eye ball balsy screaming and chaotic delivery. The vocalist in that band Rob Williams who is now dead actually has been a big influence on my screaming vocals actually.”
