Englantilainen elektronista rockia soittava Bring Me The Horizon julkaisi perjantaina 25. tammikuuta vahvasti mielipiteet kahtia jakaneen uusimman ”Amo” -nimisen albuminsa Sony Musicin kautta. Yhtye vieraili tammikuun 23. päivä BBC Radion luotsaamassa ”Future Sounds With Annie Mac” -nimisessä radio-ohjelmassa soittamassa livenä kappaleet ”Mantra”, ”Medicine” sekä ”Follow You” ja samassa yhteydessä keskustelemassa tuoreesta albumista. Yhtyeen laulaja Oliver ”Oli” Sykes kertoi studiosessioiden aikana antamassaan videohaastattelussa toivovansa bändin tuoreen albumin toimivan porttina rockin maailmaan monille musiikin ystäville. Hän kertoi aiheesta sekä vuosien saatossa bändin radikaalisti muuttuneesta musiikillisesta tyylistä seuraavaa:

“I like the fact that we have a catalog where, you get a lot of people that get into maybe, “That’s The Spirit” or “Sempiternal“, or some of the new songs and then they go back; it’s almost like a little breadcrumb trail where people will maybe start off with “Medicine“, before they know it they like “Mantra“, “It’s A Wonderful Life” and then they go back and they start to really get into the vibe of the band and it’s not just about how poppy it is or how accessible it is.

They really feed into the lyrics and what we stand for and stuff like that. So, we’re not ashamed to be like… We want to be that band. We want to be that gateway band for people to get into rock music and stuff and keep it going.”
