Facing the Gallows julkaisi musiikkivideon kappaleelleen ”Pessimist”

Eteläafrikkalainen metalcore-yhtye Facing The Gallows, joka on herättänyt kiinnostusta mm. viime vuoden Wacken Metal Battle -kilpailussa, on julkaissut ”Dead Mindset” -albumiltaan kolmannen videosinglen ”Pessimist”. Tämänhetkiseen maailmantilanteeseen kiistattoman ajankohtaista kappaletta ja videota yhtye kuvailee näin:

”The lyrics express how darkness in a person can have such a destructive impact on the quality of your life. The chorus highlights the message of what it’s doing to a person who constantly indulges in that behaviour.

With everything that’s happening with Covid19 and strict lockdowns we couldn’t physically film a music video. So, we brainstormed some ideas or alternatives and thought it would be a cool idea to get our fans involved and we asked them to help us out by filming themselves rocking out and jamming to ’Pessimist’. It’s turned out to be a really fun video, it also gives our fans a chance to be involved in what we’re doing and really be a part of the band’s history. Our fans are unbelievable, so being able to join forces besides making shows epic, is pretty special. They’re part of this journey and this video cements their importance to us.”
