Yhdysvaltalaisesta metalliyhtye Slipknotista löytyy lukuisia, eri tasoisia mashup-kappaleita Internetin maailmasta. Gizmodo -sivusto pyysi bändin laulajaa Corey Tayloria kommentoimaan muutamia mashup-kappaleita, ja hänen sähköpostitse kirjoittamansa vastaukset on myös nähtävillä täällä.
Videoita kuunneltuaan Taylor ihmetteli ylipäätään miksi monet lisäävät hänen lauluaan mashup- sekä remix-versioihin.
