Kahden vuosikymmenen odotus päättymässä: legendaarinen Blue Öyster Cult julkaisee uuden studioalbumin lokakuussa

Vuonna 1967 perustettu rock-yhtye Blue Öyster Cult on julkaisemassa seuraavan ”The Symbol Remains” -nimisen albuminsa lokakuussa Frontiers Musicin kautta. Yhtyeen tuleva albumi tulee sisältämään 14 kappaletta, ja se tulee olemaan yhtyeen ensimmäinen studioalbumi yli 20 vuoteen.

Legendaarisen yhtyeen laulaja/kitaristi Eric Bloom on kommentoinut uuden musiikin julkaisua seuraavin sanoin:

”It’s been a long time since BÖC’s last studio album. Our biggest question from fans is ’When are you going to do some new music?’ So we are ready to take this journey again. Recording with Danny, Richie and Jules should be a great experience as we’ve been touring together for years and Buck and I are looking forward to including them in the creative and recording process.”

Uuden studioalbumin lisäksi Blue Öyster Cult uudelleenjulkaisee seuraavien albumien remasteroidut versiot:

2. ”Heaven Forbid”
3. ”Curse Of The Hidden Mirror”
4. ”A Long Day’s Night” (Live CD/DVD and Blu-ray)
