Yhdysvaltalaisesta metallijättiläisestä Lamb Of Godista tuttu kitaristi Mark Morton on julkaisemassa maaliskuun 1. päivä ensimmäistä omaa sooloalbumiaan ”Anesthetic” Spinefarm Recordsin kautta. Mark on antanut tulevaan albumiinsa liittyen hiljattain Detroitissa sijaitsevalle 93.3 WMMR -nimiselle radiokanavalle haastattelun, jossa on pohtinut mm. metallimusiikin tämänhetkistä tilannetta. Mark on haastattelussa todennut olevansa itse tyytyväinen metallimusiikin kehittymiseen, koska uusia erilaisia ideoita ammentavia yhtyeitä syntyy koko ajan, ja hän nostaa esille haastattelussa yhdysvaltalaisen varsin omaperäistä metallista hardcorea soittavan Code Orangen. Mark kertoi omista näkemyksistään genren suhteen seuraavaa:

So it’s exciting to watch and it’s exciting to see young bands starting to… I’m thinking about CODE ORANGE right now — great band that’s starting to blow up, and it’s exciting to see that fire in their eyes. And it’s cool, man — it’s cool to watch from my perspective.”
