Legendaarinen brittiläisen äärimetallin ehdottomiin kärkinimiin lukeutuva Cradle of Filth on julkaisemassa uutta ”Hammer of the Witches”-nimistä albumiaan 10. heinäkuuta Nuclear Blastin kautta. Julkaisu tulee olemaan mittavan uran tehneen, vuonna 1991 perustetun bändin 11. täyspitkä. Bändi on uransa aikana myös muuttanut jonkin verran tyyliään ja käynyt läpi lukuisia miehistönvaihdoksia. Kaaoszine otti yhteyttä bändin nokkamieheen sekä samalla ainoaan alkuperäiseen jäseneen Dani Filthiin, jonka kanssa keskustelimme bändin tulevasta albumista.

Terve taas, juttelimme muutama kuukausi sitten The Devilmentin tiimoilta. Kuinkas Cradle of Filthillä on mennyt?

Dani Filth: Hyvin. Voisi sanoa, että on ollut hyvin kiireistä.

Mennäänpäs suoraan asiaan eli uuteen albumiinne, heinäkuussa julkaistavaan ”Hammer of the Witchesiin”. Voisitko aluksi lyhyesti kertoa hieman albumin kirjoitus- ja äänitysprosessista? Olettaisin, että se oli jollain tapaa erilainen, koska teillä on nyt kaksi uutta kitaristia ja naisvokalisti.

Dani Filth: Se oli oikeastaan helpompi, koska kaikki osallistuivat kirjoittamiseen ja he ovat myös hyvin tuotteliaita muusikoita. Aikaisemmin meillä oli yksi kitaristi, joka kirjoitti suurimman osan musiikista, kun taas nyt meitä oli kuusi muusikkoa kirjoittamassa, minkä tuloksena kitarat ovat runsaampia. Kitaraliideissä on paljon enemmän stemmoja, ja ne ovat hyvin melodisia, nopeita ja yksityiskohtaisia. Albumia varten oli kirjoitettu paljon materiaalia, meillä oikeastaan oli 16 biisiä, joista jätimme pois kolme, jotta meillä varmasti olisi määrän sijaan laatua emmekä vetäisi itseämme studiossa liian piippuun työstäessämme liikaa materiaalia.

Prosessi ei ollut helppo, mutta se oli mukava, koska kirjoitimme koko viime vuoden ajan. Soitimme kesäfestareilla ja olimme kuukauden Venäjällä. Albumi oli melko lailla kirjoitettu, ennen kuin lähdin kiertueelle The Devilmentin kanssa. Palattuani kiertueelta menimme välittömästi studioon. Se oli paikallinen studio, noin puolen tunnin matkan päässä kotoani, joten pystyin olemaan paikalla joka päivä. Muut jäsenet lensivät paikalle ja asuivat vuokramökeissä noin viiden kilometrin päässä studiolta ja tekivät omat osansa. Se oli hienoa, kovaa työtä, mutta hauskaa – ja kaikki osallistuivat albumin tekoon.

Kuinka erilainen tämä on verrattuna aikaisempiin kokemuksiisi?

Dani Filth: Tämä oli hyvin erilaista verrattuna pariin edelliseen julkaisuun, mutta näin me kirjoitimme ennenkin. Joten tämä oli vähän samanlaista työskentelyä, mitä teimme suunnilleen ”Nymphetamineen” asti, luulisin.

Entä millainen on uuden naisvokalistinne rooli albumilla? Laulaako hän albumilla paljonkin?

Dani Filth: Hän kyllä laulaa albumilla ja on myös soittanut harppua. Hän työskenteli tiiviisti basistimme Daniel Firthin kanssa. Rumpalimme Marthus oikeastaan kirjoitti suurimman osan albumin koskettimista, mutta kuten sanoin: kaikki osallistuivat. On hyvin vaikea sanoa ”tämä tyyppi teki sitä ja tämä tyyppi tätä”, koska prosessi oli hyvin luonnollinen.

Julkaisitte tulevalta albumilta ensimmäisenä singlen ”The Right Wing of the Garden Triptych”. Oletko lukenut Facebook-kommentteja siitä?

Dani Filth: Noh, olen kuullut siitä paljon ja puhunut ihmisten kanssa, jotka ovat pitäneet paljon singlestä. Toimittajat pitävät albumista kovasti, heidän mielestään se on parasta, mitä olemme tehneet kymmeneen vuoteen.

Entä mitä mieltä olet siitä, että monet ihmiset vertaavat tätä varhaisempiin julkaisuihinne?

Dani Filth: Juu, olen tietoinen tästä. Luulen sen johtuvan siitä, että tämä on paljon rankempi ja tyyli varmaankin muistuttaa enemmän niitä kuin viimeisimpiä albumeitamme. Emme koskaan muutenkaan kirjoita kahta samanlaista albumia, joten tämä vertailu on mielestäni hyvä asia.

Oliko teillä siis mielessänne, että haluatte viedä bändin takaisin juurilleen?

Dani Filth: Luulen, että albumista tuli sellainen kuin tuli, koska kuten mainittu, meillä on kaksi uutta kitaristia, sillä Paul oli estynyt ja toinen kitaristimme joutui vakavan niskavamman seurauksena leikkaukseen. Meidän täytyi siis löytää kaksi uutta kitaristia, koska soitamme paljon kitarastemmoja sisältävää vanhaa materiaalia. He olivat myös bändin faneja, ja se nyt vain meni niin; en osaa tarkasti sanoa, miten tai miksi se meni niin. Kuten sanoin, tämä oli hyvin luonnollinen prosessi.

Onko albumilla jokin konsepti vai rakentuuko se erillisistä biiseistä?

Dani Filth: Se on hyvin keskiaikainen: pääasiallinen teema on noituus ja lisäksi demonologia, mutta tämä ei ole konseptialbumi. Arthur Berzinshin kansitaide varmaankin antaisi ymmärtää tämän olevan konseptialbumi, sillä se sitoo kaikki biisit melko hienosti yhteen, mutta tämä on vain kokoelma biisejä. Albumin nimi juontaa juurensa ”Malleus Maleficarumista”, keskiaikaisesta noitien vainoamisen ja eliminoimisen ohjekirjasta. Nimen on tulkittu tarkoittavan ”Noitavasaraa”, joka oli siis noitien rankaisemiseen käytetty vasara. Tämä kirja nähtiin vasarana, kun taas meidän käännöksemme on ”Vasara noidille”, valta on nyt heillä. Aika, jossa elämme, on lempeämpää ja armeliaampaa kuin ennen, joten tämä käsittelee ennemmin kostoa ja vallankumousta, koska nyt valta on noidilla. Heillä ei enää ole rajoituksia, joita heillä oli aikaisemmin, eikä heitä myöskään enää vainota kuten ennen.

Mistä olet oikeastaan saanut inspiraation albumiin ja lyriikoihin?

Dani Filth: Voin kertoa, että olen koko ikäni ollut kiinnostunut tämänkaltaisista asioista, joten kun kuuntelin biisejä ensimmäistä kertaa, biisien alkuperäiset ideat vain loivat sellaisia mielikuvia ja tuntui oikealta kirjoittaa siitä, mistä kirjoitin. Näin se aina menee. Luen jatkuvasti, minulla on jo päässäni biisi-ideoita, erilaisia juttuja. Olen aina tiennyt näistä asioista, ja riippuu vain siitä, millaiseksi biisi muotoutuu, minkä makuinen biisi on ja niin edelleen.

Jos vertaat tätä tulevaa albumia ”The Manticoreen”, mitkä ovat mielestäsi tärkeimmät erot näiden välillä? Tietenkin tällä albumilla on paljon kitarastemmoja, mutta onko joitain erityisiä elementtejä, jotka ovat erilaisia?

Dani Filth: ”The Manticore” oli varmaankin hieman punkahtavampi. Tämä albumi on tarkoituksella paljon enemmän metallia: nopea ja aggressiivisempi. Olen hyödyntänyt enemmän tunnusomaisia korkeita vokaaleitani, ja vertaisin tätä tunnelmansa puolesta ennemmin vaikkapa ”Cruelty and the Beastiin” ja ”Dusk and Her Embraceen” kuin tätä edeltävään albumiin.

Olette myös julkaisseet “Right Wing of the Garden Triptychistä” mustavalkoisen videon. Onko tämän takana jokin tietty idea?

Dani Filth: Noh, istuimme videon ohjaajan kanssa, ja tämä oli tapa, jolla hän halusi sen välittää. Kuvasimme videon hylätyssä jenkkien lentotukikohdassa. Ainakin yhtenä päivänä kuvasimme lentokonehallissa, jota käytettiin suihkuhävittäjien moottoreiden testaamiseen, saadaksemme apokalyptisen tunnelman. Mielestäni tämä oli koko teoksen perusta. Tarkoituksena oli luoda apokalyptinen, synkkä viba, ja mustavalkoinen väritys sopi siihen hyvin. Mukana on myös väriläiskiä, jotka eloisina mustavalkoiseen taustaan verrattuna korostavat tiettyjä kohtia. Mielestäni se on hyvin tyyliteltyä ja taiteellista ja toimii todella hyvin. Heti, kun aloimme jutella asiasta, ohjaajalla vain oli hyvin selkeä näkemys siitä, mitä hän halusi tällä saavuttaa. Luulen, että siitä hetkestä lähtien, kun hän otti vastaan työn kuvata Cradle of Filthin uusi video, hänellä oli tämä tarkka idea siitä, miltä hän halusi sen näyttävän. Hän halusi esittää sen tavalla, joka välittäisi tämän karmivan, synkän viban. Hän on mielestäni myös saavuttanut sen hyvin.

Pidän videosta todella paljon, mielestäni se on paras videonne tähän mennessä. Se myös edustaa biisiä hyvin.

Dani Filth: Luulen, että se johtuu taas kerran luonnollisesta työskentelystä sellaisten ihmisten kanssa, joihin luottaa. Sehän on tosiasia, että nämä asiat kehittyvät kuin elävät olennot, ja tuntuu, että niiden on määrä tulla yhteen.

Kuten sanoit, ainakin singlellä kuulostat vokaaleiden suhteen hieman erilaiselta kuin aikaisemmin, joten oletko tällä kertaa tehnyt jotain toisin vokaaleiden kanssa?

Dani Filth: No joo, biisien luonne todella innosti minua. Niiden nopeus, sävellaji, riffien luonne ja stemmojen monimutkainen rakenne määräävät, että joissain kohdissa vokaalien täytyy olla korkeammat. Lisäksi tuottajamme halusi minun vetävän vokaaleita samassa hengessä, kuin tein paljon nuorempana. Hän todella kannusti minua tekemään niin. Jotkut ovat aiemmin sanoneet: ”No, Dani on menettänyt äänensä.” Mutta olin, että ”paskat, vain se, ettet halua tehdä jotain, ei tarkoita, ettet enää kykene siihen”. Lisäksi edellisellä albumilla korkeat vokaalit eivät vain toimineet koko ajan. Joten tämä oli hyvin luonnollinen prosessi, vokaalit sopivat riffien luonteeseen ja biisin tunnelmaan.

Sanoisin kyllä, että vokaalit ovat tällä levyllä äärimmäisemmät ja jatkuvat läpi koko albumin enemmän siinä hengessä. Siellä on varmaankin enemmän kirkumista ja korkeaa juttua, mutta on myös osia, joissa on hyvin paljon death metal -vaikutteita, matalaa örinää. “Blackest Magick in Practice” sisältää myös runsaasti kerrontaa. Joten sanoisin, että tällä levyllä on paljon kaikkea. Levyn viimeinen biisi “Onward Christian Soldiers” on hyvin ”Dusk and Her Embracen” tyylinen, sillä siinä on korkeaa kirkumista mutta samalla myös melodiaa.

Sinulla on videolla myös uusi corpsepaint-tyyli. Oletko kuullut Carach Angrenin kommentteja siitä?

Dani Filth: Olen kuullut tästä. Tämä bändi sanoi, että kopioimme heitä meikeillämme. Se on sama kuin sanoisi, että he ovat matkineet kaikella musiikillaan meitä, niin typerä tuo kommentti on. Meikkien kanssa vain on rajalliset mahdollisuudet. En edes tiennyt tästä bändistä, ennen kuin kuulin tästä jutusta. Halusin tehdä jotain täysin erilaista, ja minulla oli tämä idea. Minusta on kuva vuodelta 1993 samankaltaisissa meikeissä, joten sillä ei missään tapauksessa ollut mitään tekemistä tuon bändin kanssa. Se ei käynytkään mielessäni, sama kuin sanoisi King Diamondin kopioineen Gene Simmonsia.

Oletko kehitellyt tämän uuden tyylin noilta bändin alkuajoilta?

Dani Filth: En, meikeillä vain voi tehdä tietyn verran ja pidin tuosta ideasta. Kuvauspäivänä istuin tavallisesti Marilyn Mansonin kanssa työskentelevän meikkitaiteilijan kanssa, jolla oli idea, jota hän halusi kokeilla ja tällaiseen päädyimme. Jos huomasit, videollahan minulla on itse asiassa toinenkin tyyli. Muutan tyyliäni jatkuvasti, eikä sillä ollut mitään tekemistä tämän Carach Angrenin kanssa.

Entä tuletko tulevilla kiertueillanne käyttämään jotain tiettyä tyyliä vai oletko vielä edes päättänyt sitä?

Dani Filth: En oikeastaan ole vielä päättänyt. Käytin tuollaista meikkiä, kun soitimme hiljattain stadionfestareilla Filippiineillä. Siellä oli jotain 35 000 ihmistä. Soitimme Killswitch Engagen, Suffocationin, Carcassin, Escape the Faten ja Chthtonicin kanssa, se oli massiivinen tapahtuma. Koska minulla oli paljon aikaa laittaa meikit, päätin tehdä siitä juuri samanlaisen, kuin minulla oli videolla. Aina tilanne ei ole sellainen, koska aina ei ole aikaa ja maskien tekemisessä on paljon hommaa. Vaihdan tyyliäni jatkuvasti, albumilta ja keikalta toiseen.

Mielestäni on hyvä ja pitää jutut tuoreena, että on hieman vaihtelua.

Dani Filth: Juuri niin. Mutta en edes tiennyt tästä toisesta bändistä, en näytä ollenkaan heiltä, sillä tyypillä on vain muutama viiva naamassaan. Mielestäni he kopioivat jotain toista tyyppiä. Luulen, että tämä juttu on vain hyvä tekosyy saada julkisuutta.

Suuret kiitokset taas kerran ajastasi ja onnea uuden albumin kanssa. Onko vielä jotain, mitä haluat sanoa elokuussa Oulun Jalometalliin teitä katsomaan tuleville faneillenne?

Dani Filth: Odotamme sitä innolla, siitä tulee hauskaa. Siellä on myös hyvät esiintyjät, koska ystävämme Hell ja Saxon soittavat. Soitamme aina mielellämme Suomessa, luvassa on hyvät pippalot. Sinne on kyllä hieman hankala päästä, koska soitamme juuri edellisenä päivänä Brutal Assaultissa Tsekeissä; ilmeisesti lentoja on harvoin ja vähän, vain muutama Ouluun. Mutta joo, odotan sitä todella innolla, siitä tulee mahtavaa. Tsekatkaa ihmeessä uusi albumi! Se julkaistaan 10. heinäkuuta Nuclear Blastin kautta. Tietysti “Right Wing of the Garden Triptychin” video on paraikaa nähtävillä Youtubessa. Albumilta on tulossa myös kolmen viikon päästä saataville uusi biisi “Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess” lyriikkavideona, sellaisiahan on tapana julkaista nykyään. The legendary and one of the most well-known British extreme metal bands Cradle of Filth will release their new album called ”Hammer of the Witches” on July 10th via Nuclear Blast Records. Formed in 1991, the band has a lengthy career behind them and this upcoming release will be their 11th full-length album. The bands’ musical style has undergone some changes during the years and there has also been several changes in the line-up. Kaaoszine contacted the band’s frontman and also the only original member Dani Filth, with whom we discussed about the upcoming album.

Hello once again, I talked with you about The Devilment a couple of months ago. So, how have the times been now with Cradle of Filth?

Dani Filth: Good. Could say, very busy.

Let’s get directly to the point, to the new album ”The Hammer of the Witches”, which will be out on July. Could you first shortly tell us a bit about the whole writing and recording process of the album? I’d guess it was somehow different, because now you have two new guitarists and female vocalist.

Dani Filth: It was actually easier, because everybody contributed to the writing process and they’re very prolific musicians. Whereas before we had one guitarist writing the majority of the music and now we had six musicians writing, which means the guitars are more prolific. There’s a lot more twin-guitar harmonies in the leads and it’s very melodic, fast and ornate. There was a lot of material written for the album, we actually had 16 tracks and dropped three of them, just to make sure we had quality over quantity and that we weren’t gonna spread ourselves too thin in the studio working on too much stuff.

It wasn’t easy, but it was pleasant because we wrote during the course of last year. We were undertaking summer festivals and we went to Russia for a month. We pretty much had the album written before I went on tour with Devilment and as soon as I came back from the tour, we were in the studio. It was a local studio, about half an hour away from where I live, so I was able to be there for every day. The other members flew in and they stayed at holiday homes about 5 km away from the studio and did their parts. I mean, it was good, it was a lot hard work but fun and everybody contributed to the album.

So how different is that actually compared to your past experiences?

Dani Filth: Compared to the last couple of albums, it’s very different but it’s the way we used to write. So it’s sort of circa up to about ”Nymphetamine”, I guess.

What kind of role does your new female vocalist have on the album, does she do a lot of singing?

Dani Filth: She sings on the record, yeah, and she has contributed live harp. She worked closely with Daniel Firth, the bass player. Marthus, the drummer actually wrote the majority of the keyboards on the album, but everybody contributed. It’s very hard to sort of sit down and say “well, they did this and they did that” cause it was a very organic process.

As the first single from the album, you released the song ”Right Wing  of the Garden Triptych”. Have you read any Facebook comments about this single?

Dani Filth: We’ll, I’ve heard a lot and I’ve talked with people, who’d loved it. Journalists are loving the album, they’re saying it’s the best thing we’ve done for 10 years.

And what are your thoughts about a lot of people comparing this to your past releases?

Dani Filth: Yeah, I know that. I think it’s because it’s a lot harder and you know, the style probably mimics more that than recent albums. We never write two albums the same anyway, so it’s a good thing.

Did you have something like that in your mind when you started writing that you basically want to take the band back to its roots?

Dani Filth: I think the album turned out the way it did because like said, we got two new guitarist because Paul was indisposed and our other guitarist had a serious neck injury so he had to have a surgery. We had to find two new guitarists and we’re playing a lot of twin guitar sort of material from a back catalogue. They we’re also fans of the band, it just went that way. I can’t particularly tell how or why it went that way, it just did and like I said, it was a very organic process.

Does the album have a concept behind it or does it contain just separate songs?

Dani Filth: It’s very medieval, it has themes of witchcraft, primarily, and demonology but it’s not a concept album. The artwork by Arthur Berzinsh would probably let you think it’s a concept album because it ties all the songs quite nicely in, but no, it’s a collection of songs. The title comes from the Malleus Malleficarum which was a medieval guidebook to the rooting out and the persecution of witches. The interpretation of the title is “Hammer of the Witches”, that was a hammer used to punish the witches. The book was regarded as being a hammer, whereas our translation is “A Hammer for the Witches”, the power is now theirs, cause we live in more clement, forgiving times, and it’s more about retribution, revenge and revolution. Now the witches have the power, they don’t have the restrictions they once had and they aren’t persecuted like they once were.

So where have you actually gotten the inspiration for this album and the lyrics?

Dani Filth: I can tell you, I’ve been into this sort of thing all my life, so when I listened to the songs first presented to us, the initial ideas of the tracks just conjured up images for me and it felt right to write about what I’m writing about. It always happens that way. I always read, I’ve already got ideas for songs in my head for different things. I’ve always known about these things and it just depends on how the song’s turning out or what flavour the song is et cetera.

If you compare ”The Manticore” album to the upcoming album what are the main differences in your opinion? Of course there are a lot twin guitars now, but are there any certain different elements?

Dani Filth: I guess ”The Manticore” was a little bit more punky. This album’s decidedly way more metal, fast and more aggressive. I’ve employed more of my trademark high vocals. I would compare this more to something like ”Cruelty and the Beast” and ”Dusk and Her Embrace” in atmosphere than with the previous album.

You have also released a black and white video for the single “Right Wing of the Garden Triptych”. Is there a certain idea behind that?

Dani Filth: We’ll, we sat with the video director and this is the way he wanted it to come across. We filmed it in this deserted US airbase, I think one of the days anyway at least we filmed it in a hangar that was used to test jet fighter engines to have an apocalyptic feel, and I think it was the whole premise of the piece. It was supposed to have an apocalyptic, dark vibe to it and black and white suited it, with splashes of colour, which bring out those particular moments because they’re so vibrant compared to the monochrome background. And think this is very stylised and artsy and works very well. I mean, when we first started talking with him about it he just had a very decided idea about what he wanted to achieve with it. And I think from the moment he took on board the job of filming the new Cradle of Filth video he had this fixed idea about how he wanted it to look. He wanted to represent it in such a way that it gave off this creepy, darksome vibe which I think he achieved through it.

Yeah, I really like the video, I think it’s one of your best ones to date. I think it represents the song really well in a way.

Dani Filth: Yeah, I think it’s, again, the organic nature of working with people you trust. It’s a fact these things grow like creatures, you know what I mean, and they feel like they were destined to be paired together.

So, as you said, vocal-wise you sound, at least on the single, a bit different than before. So have you done something different with the vocals this time around?

Dani Filth: Well yeah, I was really pushed by the nature of the songs. Because they’re faster and the key, the nature of the riffing and the ornate pattern of the twin harmonies dictate that the vocals in some places had to be higher. Our producer wanted me to replicate or be more in line with the vocals I did when I was a lot younger. He really pushed me to do that and some people have said in the past “so Dani’s lost his voice” and I was like “fuck off, just because you don’t want to do something it doesn’t mean you’re incapable of doing it”. And also, the previous album dictated that the high vocals just didn’t work all the way through. So you get, it’s a very organic process, it suits the nature of the riffs, it suits the feel of the song. And yes, I would say the vocals are more extreme on this record and do continue throughout the album touching even more in that vein. There’s probably more screams and high stuff, but there’s also parts of the album that have very death metal influenced, very guttural and deep vocals. “Blackest Magick in Practice” also has a lot of narrative. So yeah, I mean there’s a lot on stuff on this record. “Onward Christian Soldiers”, the last track on the album, is very ”Dusk and Her Embrace”, you know, it’s very high, extreme shrill but at the same time, melodic vocally, as well.

You also have a new style of corpsepaint on the video, I don’t know if you are aware of the Dutch band Carach Angren having made a comment about it?

Dani Filth: People do say that. This band, they said we copied them with make-up. It would actually mean that they copied us with all their music, because that’s how silly that comment is. There’s only so much you can do with make-up. I didn’t even know the band existed before I even heard this. I was going for something completely different, it was an idea I had and if you look, I have a photo of me wearing a similar make-up in 1993 to what I did now so it had nothing to do with this band whatsoever. It didn’t even come into my mind, it’s like saying King Diamond ripped off Gene Simmons.

Did you already come up with the new paint in those early days of the band?

Dani Filth: No, there’s just so much you can do and I liked that idea. I sat, on the day while we were doing the photoshoot, with the make-up artist who usually works with Marilyn Manson and she had an idea she wanted to try out and that’s what we came up with. If you noticed on the video, there’s actually another look on there, I change my style all the time. It had nothing to do with the Carach Angren band.

Will there be a certain kind of style that you will use on the upcoming tours, or have you even decided that yet?

Dani Filth: I haven’t really decided yet. I used that make-up when we played a festival recently in the Philippines, which was like a stadium. There was like 35,000 people there, we played there with Killswitch Engage, Carcass, Suffocation, Escape the Fate, Chthonic, it was massive. And I just decided, because I had plenty of time to do the make-up, that I’d do the make-up exactly as I did on the video. That may not be the case because sometimes you just don’t have the time, you know, it’s a lot of work. And I don’t know, I change my make-up all the time from album to album, from gig to gig.

I think it’s also good and keeps things fresh when you change it up a bit.

Dani Filth: Yeah, exactly. But I had no idea about this other band, I don’t look anything like the other band, the guy has a couple of lines on his face. I think they’ve ripped off somebody else. I think it’s just a good excuse to get them to press.

Thank you very much for your time once again and the best of luck with the new album. Anything you want to say to your fans coming to see you at Jalometalli in Oulu when you are playing in August here in Finland?

Dani Filth: Yeah, we’re looking forward to that, that’s gonna be good fun. Good line-up as well cause our friends of Hell and Saxon are playing. We’re always up playing in Finland, you know, it’s gonna be a bit of a party. It’s a bit difficult to get to the place and we’re playing Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic the bay before and apparently the flights are already few and far between, there’s only a couple of flights to Oulu. But yeah, I’m really looking forward to it, it’s gonna be amazing. And check the new album out! The album comes out on Nuclear Blast on July the 10^th. Obviously “Right Wing of the Garden Triptych” you could see on Youtube at the present. There’ll be another track from the album called “Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess”, which will be available in about three week’s time as a sort of lyric video kind of thing, you know, these kind of things you wanna put out these days.
