Foo Fighters julkaisi uuden kappaleen osana Planned Parenthood -kokoelmaa

Hiljattain uuden ”Concrete Gold” -albuminsa julkaissut yhdysvaltalainen rockyhtye Foo Fighters on jakanut streamattavaksi uuden ”Soldier” -nimisen kappaleensa. Kyseinen kappale on osa Planned Parenthood -yhdistyksen massiivista 7″ -singlekokoelmaa, joka julkaistaan pienissä palasissa tulevien viikkojen aikana digitaalisissa palveluissa ja lopulta myös yhtenä isona vinyylikokoelmana. Mukana ei ole ainoastaan muusikoita, vaan kokoelmalla julkaistaan töitä kuvataiteilijoilta, koomikoilta ja kirjailijoilta.

Kokoelman kaikki tuotot annetaan järjestön käyttöön, sillä se kertoo amerikkalaisten lainsäätäjien yrittävän ajaa sen alas. Alhaalla on luettavissa Planned Parenthoodin tiedote julkaisusta:

”Lawmakers with extreme views are working hard to shut down Planned Parenthood. If they succeed, millions of Americans will lose access to basic health services, including STD testing and treatment, birth control, and life-saving cancer screenings.”
