Saxonin tulevan albumin kappale ”They Played Rock And Roll” on omistettu Motörheadin Lemmy Kilmisterille

Parhaillaan studiossa uutta albumiaan nauhoittavan englantilaisen heavy metallin veteraanin Saxonin laulaja Biff Byford on paljastanut tuoreessa EonMusicin haastattelussa, että bändin tulevalle albumille päätyy Motörheadin Lemmy Kilmisterille omistettu kappale nimeltä ”They Played Rock And Roll”. Kappaleesta Biff on kertonut seuraavaa:

”Yeah, that’s on its way,” Biff said. ”I’ve finished the lyrics for that, and it will make the album. It’s about the eighties, really. It’s about the ’Bomber’ tour, and ’Ace Of Spades’. That’s when we first met them; on the ’Bomber’ tour, we supported them, so it’s about that, and the album ’No Sleep ’Til Hammersmith’, and the subsequent ’80s scene.”
