Amon Amarth tulevasta albumista: ”Levy tulee yllättämään positiivisesti fanimme”
Ruotsalainen, viikinkimetallia soittava Amon Amarth on julkaisemassa seuraavan, ”Berserker”-nimisen albuminsa toukokuun 3. päivä Metal Blade Recordsin kautta. Yhtyeen laulaja Johan Hegg sekä kitaristi Olavi Mikkonen ovat hiljattain antaneet yhdysvaltalaiselle WSOU-radiokanavalle haastattelun, jossa he ovat kuvailleet tulevaa levyä bändin uran parhaaksi tuotokseksi tähän mennessä. Olavi ja Johan kertoivat albumin olevan täynnä bändille uusia elementtejä, jotka tulevat yllättämään bändin fanit todennäköisesti positiivisesti. Albumin luvataan kuitenkin olevan täyttä Amon Amarthia. Johan ja Olavi kertoivat aiheesta seuraavaa:
”We’ve done something quite different as Amon Amarth, even though very familiar for the fans, but it’s still gonna sound Amon Amarth, of course, but there’s a lot of new elements and new stuff in the recording. So I think people are gonna be pleasantly surprised about the album.”

Ten’s gonna be the album,’ ’cause we don’t really wanna have too long [of] an album. But we could not decide what two songs we would skip. And every guy in the band, management and whatnot people had different opinions. We were, like, ’Fuck it! Keep them all.’ And then to choose the singles, that was even trickier.”
