Architectsin fani jakoi Tom Searlen kirjoittaman koskettavan viestin itselleen vain viikkoja ennen kuolemaansa

Uutisoimme sunnuntaina sivustollamme Architectsin kitaristin ja perustajan Tom Searlen kuolemasta taisteltuaan kolme vuotta salassa melanoomaa eli ihosyöpää vastaan. Miehen kuolema on koskettanut monia ja nyt yksi bändin faneista nimeltä Jason Puplett, jolla oli itsetuhoisia aikomuksia on julkaissut koskettavan viestin, jonka Tom Searle on kirjoittanut hänelle vain viikkoja ennen kuolemaansa. Jason suunnitteli ilmeisesti itsemurhaa mutta tuli toisiin ajatuksiin kuunneltuaan bändin ”Gone With The Wind” -nimisen kappaleen ja lähestyi sen takia yhtyettä kiittäen henkensä pelastamisesta. Firstly I want to say how happy I am that our music could help you in some way. You will come through whatever you’re going through. Never give up. The adversity in our lives often becomes our greatest teacher. I can say from my experience, that I wouldn’t change any of the hard times in my life for anything. They shaped me and made me into a stronger, happier human being. As long as we are listening and learning from our experience, then we can find a positive to come out of every supposed negative.

If only we’d give the hard times the benefit of time to unfold, we’d see that we needed them and they led us to better things. I truly believe this. Secondly, I want to thank you on a personal level for your message. It came at a poignant moment for me and it meant a lot to me.
