Avenged Sevenfold aikoo julkaista levyn nauhoituksista yli jääneitä kappaleita yksitellen tulevaisuudessa

Avenged Sevenfoldin uusi ”The Stage” -niminen albumi ilmestyi lokakuun 28. päivä Capitol Recordsin kautta ja Kaaoszinen arvostelun sekä haastattelun albumista voit lukea tästä ja tästä. yhtyeen laulaja M. Shadows sekä kitaristi Zacky Vengeance ovat antaneet hiljattain haastattelun That´s Not Metal -podcastille, jossa ovat avanneet hieman bändin suunnitelmia albumin ”kehittymisen” suhteen. Shadows on haastattelussa sanonut yhtyeen nauhoittamaan kuusi coveria albumia nauhoittaessa sekä muutaman ylimääräisen kappaleen, joka tullaan julkaisemaan tiputellen bändin fanien iloksi. “We did like six covers songs that we didn’t… but we didn’t want any covers on our record, you know what I mean? We don’t wanna do that… Then we also have stuff that we didn’t finish for the record, that we felt would make the record a littler long in the tooth, just a little too long. But now we want to give it to them after they’ve digested it. So we have a process where we’re going to release songs monthly And we’re not going to make a big deal of it. Just one day you might go on Spotify and there’s be a new song and another one, but we’re not gonna sit there and hype it up, we’re just gonna let it be what it is.”

Zacky Vengeance puolestaan kertoi kappaleista seuraavaa:

“They’re definitely not obvious bands, we wanted to do out take on songs that you wouldn’t expect to hear from us. So what we did was, dig really deep and try to find songs that wouldn’t be necessarily easy for us to cover, it wasn’t the obvious picks. We wanted to do something that was pretty far off the end of the spectrum.”
