Bloodred Hourglass 2014Mikkeliläinen metallia soittava Bloodred Hourglass on tällä hetkellä studiossa nauhoittamassa seuraavaa albumiaan. Yhtye on julkaissut tulevaan albumiinsa liittyen seuraavanalaisen päivityksen:

Status update!

As you might have noticed, we are currently in the middle of the recording sessions of our album two. As we speak, drum and bass-recordings are successfully done and we will continue in December with guitars and vocals. If everything stays in schedule it’s all done just before the year turns to 2015. We are working at SoundSpiral Audio, a studio in Kouvola, FInland, under a strict supervising of Mr. Juho Räihä, who has recorded, produced, mixed, mastered and whatnot a countless amounts of metal acts and surely is a familiar name for many of you guys. It has been a really pleasant co-operation so far, and this guy if anyone is surely going to get the very best out of every aspect we are working on with this.

We have ten songs under development for this record. The album in general is going to be a lot more melodic, dramatic, crushing and most of all musically a really great step forward when it comes to our discography. There are, of course, straight forward songs included but it’s surely going to take a little more play counts to get a decent grip of what’s actually going on in there. We surely didn’t want to do another ’Lifebound’ here, and because Antti is able to compose these kind of massive songs, it would be simply retarded not to use it as an advantage at this point. You will also hear Lauri’s voice on the album, as we welcome his vocal skills onboard as an addition. Keyboards are playing a notably bigger role on this compared to our debut one, too.

After we complete the recordings, the usual mixing + mastering kicks in, and we will go through the options for a possible partner/record label to get it out for you. We’re looking forward to get this released during the late spring/early summer 2015 with a decent tour and hopefully all the possible festivals included, and will keep you posted with updates of the progress.

Things have gone forward, big time, and we can’t wait to get the album out to you people! That said, get hyped and take care!
