Deadly Carnage kiinnitetty Willowtip Recordsille – uusi albumi tekeillä

Italialainen post-black metal -yhtye Deadly Carnage on tehnyt sopimuksen Willowtip Recordsin kanssa. Bändi kertoo työstävänsä parhaillaan uutta konseptialbumia, jonka aiheena tulee olemaan noituus ja noitavainot.
Yhtye tiedottaa:

”After a long period of silence, the time has finally come to reveal something; for almost two years we have been working tirelessly on a new concept album whose foundations were created even before releasing Endless Blue.

This time we will go back in time to address a topic that is particularly close to our hearts; Witchcraft and Witch Hunts, which between the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Renaissance fueled collective fears that led to the unjust accusation of countless innocent women and men. Our new concept album does not aim to analyze the historical or sociological facts of this phenomenon, but intends to tell an intimate story of loss and personal growth through the symbolism of Witchcraft; a story seen through the eyes of a female protagonist (rightly so) who will accompany us on her journey through the night and beyond the mists to reveal ancient practices and lost knowledge.

Many years ago we mentioned our interest in these themes with our debut album, but now, on the threshold of twenty years of activity, it is time to close the circle; for us it’s time to address this still extremely current topic. We still have a long way to go to release this new album, but every day we are giving our all to its realization. Soon we will reveal more details. We can’t wait to tell this new story!”
