Dragonforcelta kokoelma nimeltä ”Killer Elite” heinäkuussa: yhtyeen seuraavan studioalbumin aikataulu myös selvillä

Englantilainen power metal -yhtye Dragonforce aikoo julkaista kaiken kaikkiaan 22 kappaletta sisältävän kokoelman nimeltä ”Killer Elite – The Hits, The Highs, The Vids” heinäkuun 22. päivä Spinefarm Recordsin kautta. Yhtyeen tuleva kokoelma tulee sisältämään 22 kappaleen lisäksi myös DVD:n, joka tulee sisältämään kaikki yhtyeen tähän mennessä julkaistut musiikkivideot. Bändin kitaristi Herman Li on kertonut tulevasta kokoelmasta seuraavaa:

“The aim of this release is to give a strong flavor of everything we’ve recorded so far, and I like to think it shows a lot of diversity. Certainly, we tried to make it as broad-based as possible. Since Marc joined the band [replacing original frontman ZP Theart,] we’ve actually released some of our speediest songs and some our most melodic compositions, too. DragonForce isn’t just about the relentless tempos and the flashy solos; ultimately, it’d the feel of the music that counts…”

Dragonforcella on tarkoituksena siirtyä piakkoin studioon yhdessä tuottaja Jens Bogrenin (Amon Amarth, Opeth) kanssa nauhoittamaan seuraavaa albumiaan, jonka julkaisua kaavaillaan tapahtuvaksi maaliskuussa 2017. Yhtye tulee soittamaan kesän ainoan Suomen keikkansa Nummirockissa juhannuksena.
