Entinen Motörhead-kitaristi Phil Campbell toivoo julkaisevansa sooloalbuminsa kesällä

Entinen Motörhead-yhtyeen kitaristi, ja nykyisin Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sonsin rivistössä toimiva Phil Campbell on kertonut kreikkalaisen TV Warin haastattelussa haluavansa julkaista tulevan sooloalbuminsa kesään mennessä. Levy on ollut tekeillä jo yli viisi vuotta ja sillä tulee vierailemaan lukuisia artisteja, kuten Judas Priestistä tuttu Rob Halford, Twisted Sisterin Dee Snider, Slipknotin Chris Fehn sekä Ugly Kid Joen Whitfield Crane. Campbellilla on työn alla myös kirja, jonka julkaisuaikataulusta hän on kertonut seuraavaa:

”I stopped it, ’cause I wanted to record [with Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons] first. Some things must remain a secret. Man of mystery — I wanna be Austin Powers. I may do it one day, yeah. I’ve got two Swedish guys [Leif Eriksson and Martin Svensson] to help me write it. I just had too much pressure on last year. I had a problem with my house flooding, and we were trying to make the Bastard Sons record, and the big shows we had, so I said, ’I need to wait a little bit.’

It’s just gonna be 30 or 40 amazing things that will put a smile on people’s faces. It won’t be about what school I went to, or that boring crap. It won’t be an autobiography, no.”
