Entisiltä Burnt By The Sunin jäseniltä uusi yhtye nimeltä River Black

Yhdysvaltalaisen vuosina 1999-2009 aktiviisena toimineen metalcore -yhtye Burnt By The Sunin jäsenet ovat perustaneet uuden yhtyeen nimeltä River Black. Yhtyeessä vaikuttaa lauluissa Mike Olender (Ex-Burnt By The Sun), kitarassa John Adubato (Ex-Burnt By The Sun), bassossa Brett Bamberger (Revocation) sekä rummuissa Dave Witte (Ex-Burnt By The Sun). Yhtye on hiljattain solminut sopimuksen Season Of Mist Recordsin kanssa ja työstää parhaillaan tuottaja Eric Rachelin (Skid Row, Municipal Waste, God Forbid) kanssa tulevaa debyyttialbumiaan, joka tullaan julkaisemaan vuoden 2016 aikana. Bändin rumpali Dave Witte on kommentoinut uutta yhtyettä sekä sen musiikillista suuntausta seuraavasti:

”I’ve always had a strong connection with John and his riffs. Somehow, he’s able to pull things out of me drumming-wise that no one else can. I found a rhythm partner and brother in Brett over the years, so those two together are the ultimate wing men for me so-to-speak. Adding Mike back into the fold was the puzzle piece that had been missing the whole time we’ve been working on this project.”
