Yhdysvaltalaisen thrash metal -veteraani Exodusin rumpalilla Tom Huntingilla on todettu spinaliooma eli okasolusyöpä. Okasolysyöpä on ihon sarveissolujen pahanlaatuinen kasvain. Okasolusyöpä on pääosin ikääntyvien ihmisten syöpä ja sen hoidossa tärkeintä on, että sairastunut henkilö hakeutuu ajoissa tutkimuksiin ja hoitoon.
