Grindmother ilmoittaa jäähyväiskeikoista

Grindcore-artisti Grindmother on ilmoittanut kahdesta jäähyväiskeikasta seitsemän vuoden tauon jälkeen. Yllättävä paluu tapahtuu surullisissa merkeissä, sillä 77-vuotiaalla vokalistilla on hiljattain diagnosoitu dementia. Viimeiset esiintymiset pidetään 5. ja 6. joulukuuta Montrealissa ja Torontossa. Tapahtumissa esiintyvät myös Cattle Decapitation, Aborted, Frozen Soul ja Tribal Gaze.

Grindmotherin poika ja bänditoveri Rayny Forster kertoi Metal Injectionille jäähyväiskeikoista:

“We wanted her to have a proper farewell for the fans she loves more than anything. We’re beyond thankful to Travis Ryan and Cattle Decapitation for the opportunity to bring her in front of such a large audience. And of course, to our fellow Canadian grindcore family in Fuck The Facts who have graciously accepted the call. This will be a great celebration.”

These will be her final live appearances, but it won’t be the last you’ll hear from us. We’re working on new music, and there’s a lot more to come.”
