Yhdysvaltalainen hip hopia ja rockia musiikissaan yhdistelevä (hed)p.e. on parhaillaan äänittämässä seuraajaa vuoden 2014 ”Evolution”-albumille. Voit lukea vokalisti Jahredin kommentit aiheen tiimoilta tästä:

“i’m recording vocals for the new album. EVOLUTION was well received and dare i say critically acclaimed. I approached that album deciding to use rock tones throughout, and make the hip hop influence more subtle. Riding the beat using rock tones and melody.
I’m getting some feedback about throwing some old school jahred in the mix. When i started hedpe, the vocal style was very scattered, people often thought there were 3 vocalists in the band, because i was constantly changing my tone. the label didnt appreciate that, and honestly, i’ve worked to refine my approach.
still, i do enjoy switching from hardcore to hip hop to rock to pop to raga. its just plain fun… anyway, just thought i’d share my thoughts on this fine day in the studio. HAVE A NICE DAY FRIENDS!”
