In Flamesin Anders Friden: ”Tulevalla albumilla kitarat ovat enemmän keskiössä ja albumi on ehkä hieman raskaampi kuin ”Battles””

Ruotsalainen metalliyhtye In Flames valmistelee parhaillaan tulevaa albumiaan julkaistavaksi ensi vuoden keväänä Nuclear Blast Recordsin kautta. Yhtyeen laulaja Anders Friden on antanut hiljattain videohaastattelun Rock 100.5 The KATTille, jossa on kertonut omia ajatuksiaan vuonna 2016 ilmestyneen ”Battles” -albumin seuraajasta. Andersin mukaan bändin tuleva albumi on musiikillisesti ehkä hieman raskaampi kuin bändin edellinen albumi ”Battles” ja kitarat ovat enemmän keskiössä kuin edellisellä albumilla. Anders kertoi albumista seuraavaa:

”I don’t know about that part. I mean, I’m happy that people are excited, of course. Personally, I don’t like these hype things where they say, ’Oh, they’re back again,’ or, ’It’s this again,’ and then they get the full album and [are], like, ’Oh, fuck. It’s not…’ ’Cause we never do the same album twice; we always take things forward. But I think this one is a little bit more guitar-oriented and slightly heavier… Don’t take ’heavier’ for grant… But it has a different feel to it.
