Black metal -duo Inquisitionin ja kreikkalaisen Septicfleshin viime viikolla alkanut Euroopan-kiertue on saanut ikävän käänteen. Inquisitionin rumpali Incubus (oik. Thomas Stevens) on kiidätetty sairaalaan kesken sound checkin, ja yhtye on tämän myötä perunut tämänpäiväisen esiintymisensä Bolognassa, Italiassa. Miehen terveydentilasta tullaan tiedottamaan tarkemmin.

Yhtye kertoi asiasta Facebook-sivullaan:

”Bologna cancelled – A medical emergency happened during sound check. Incubus (Thomas Stevens) was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The hospital is in contact with us to update us on his condition. More information soon.”

Inquisition on aiemmin joutunut perumaan esiintymisensä Saksan Münchenissä 4. tammikuuta lentoyhtiön kadotettua yhtyeen varusteet.  Kyseisen keikan oli tarkoitus olla kiertueen ensimmäinen. Alla yhtyeen kommentti aiheesta:

”Munich, we express immense regret not being able to perform for you. We tried every possible measure to make this happen but in the end it was not possible unless we would have compromised our standards considerably.”

”Lufthansa Airlines lost our guitars, all cables, stage banners, and more. At this time they are due to arrive here in Munich while the show is coming to an end.”

”We had a plan B but this was not the best solution. We are not picky or complicating artists, but at times if you can’t give the best show, no show is the better option.”

”For now we will continue to resolve this.”

”Thank you for understanding, next time we will have a solid backup plan. Lost baggage is now becoming a normal event unfortunately.”
