Kansas työstää uutta albumia 16 vuoden tauon jälkeen – ensimmäinen kappale kuunneltavissa

Vuonna 1973 perustettu rock-musiikin legenda Kansas työstää ensimmäistä uutta albmiaan 16 vuoteen. ”The Prelude Implicit” -niminen albumi on saanut julkaisupäiväkseen 23.9.2016 ja sen ensimmäinen kappale ”With This Heart” on jo kuunneltavissa. Kansasin edellinen albumi ”Somewhere to Elsewhere” julkaistiin vuonna 2000. Rumpali Phil Ehart kommentoi uutta levyä seuraavasti:

“The title of the album, The Prelude Implicit, means without a doubt this is a new musical beginning for the band. This is the prelude – this is the beginning of a new musical expanse for us. The thing that Richard Williams and I realised is: it’s the music, the Kansas music. If the band Kansas stops, then the music stops.”
