Måneskinin yhteistyö Rage Against The Machinen Tom Morellon kanssa kuunneltavissa uudella ”Gossip”-kappaleella

Måneskinin odotettu uusi albumi ”Rush!” ilmestyy ensi viikon perjantaina 20. tammikuuta. Levyltä on jo ennakkoon lohkaistu kappaleet ”La Fine”, ”Mammamia”, ”Supermodel” ja ”The Loneliest”. Ensi viikon perjantaina järjestetään Helsingissä kauppakeskus Forumissa Måneskinin fanitapahtuma, jossa on mahdollisuus päästä kuvauttamaan itsensä osaksi jättimäistä Måneskin mosaiikkiteosta. Tähän tullaan keräämään valokuvia faneista julkaisupäivänä ympäri maailman.

Tänään saatiin vielä viimeinen maistiainen levyltä, ”Gossip” -kappaleella feattaa Rage Against The Machinen Tom Morello. Bändi kuvailee Morellon kanssa työskentelyä seuraavasti:

Tom Morello kertoo yhteistyöstä bändin kanssa puolestaan seuraavaa:

“When I heard that there was a rock and roll band from Italy that was blowing up around the world I was like “Really? Come on”. Then when I saw them play live I was blown away. They are unapologetically loud, unapologetically sexy, and unapologetically ROCKING and deserve to be one of the standard bearers for rock and roll for a younger generation. I got to jam with them at their studio in Hollywood, it’s a great band, they all play great, they write great songs, they connect with their audience in a deep and meaningful way, and if you’ve seen them play live the crowd goes OFF! It looks a lot like some of the big bands of the ‘90s”.

Supersuosittu italialainen rock-yhtye nousi suursuosioon voitettuaan Euroviisut pari vuotta taaksepäin. Kulunut vuosi on kulunut vahvasti kiertueella ympäri maailmaa, sekä uutta musiikkia työstäessä. Måneskin on kivunnut listojen kärkipaikoille ympäri maailman, sekä rikkonut useita ennätyksiä mm. ensimmäisenä italialaisena yhtyeenä, jonka kaksi kappaletta ovat nousseet yhtä aikaa UK:n viralliselle singlelistalle. ”I Wanna Be Your Slave” -kappale pokkasi viime vuoden Emma Gaalassa Vuoden striimatuimman ulkomaisen kappaleen palkinnon.
