Muusikot muistelevat Vinnie Paulia ja lähettävät osanotot miehen muistolle
Lukuisat muusikot ovat reagoineet fanien tavoin voimakkaasti rumpali Vinnie Paulin kuolemaan. Oikealta nimeltään Vincent Paul Abbott perusti Panteran vuonna 1981 yhdessä veljensä Dimebag Darrellin kanssa. Pantera hajosi vuonna 2003 laulaja Phil Anselmon pitkittyneen tauon jälkeen, ja Abbottin veljekset perustivat yhdessä uuden yhtyeen Damageplanin. Vuoden kuluttua uuden bändin perustamisesta Dimebag ammuttiin kesken keikan.
Vuodesta 2006 aina kuolemaansa asti Vinnie Paul soitti yhdysvaltalaisessa Hellyeah-yhtyeessä, joskin hänelle oltiin usein ehdotettu Panteran paluuta, jossa Dimebagin korvaajaksi olisi noussut kitaristi Zakk Wylde. Paul oli kommentoinut, ettei Panteraa ole olemassa ilman Dimebagia.
”I’m not interested because there’s no Dime, and, to me, if there’s no Dime, there’s no Pantera. That’s my reason. It’s behind me. I’ve moved on. I play in a band called Hellyeah and I really love doing it. I’m looking forward to moving forward; I don’t wanna live in the past.”

Panteran livemenoa tasan 20 vuoden takaa Kauhajoen Nummirockista voi muistella alla olevasta lyhytdokumentista (kohdasta 12:15 alkaen):
Hellyeahin laulaja Chad Gray kiittää ja muistelee lukuisilla päivityksillä bändikaveriaan.
