Old Moon julkaisi tulevan debyyttialbumin nimikkoraidan ”Home To Nowhere”

Yhdysvaltalainen blackened melodic metal -yhtye Old Moon on julkaissut tulevalta debyyttialbumiltaan sen nimikkoraidan ”Home To Nowhere” musiikkivideon saattelemana. Yhtyeen albumi ilmestyy 8. toukokuuta.
Vokalisti Michael Priest kertoo:

“’Home to Nowhere’ is an incredibly deep and emotional track. It describes a lot of hurt and regret and just the feeling of longing for something that doesn’t exist anymore. Writing this song was a challenge. I had to put myself in that place to be able to articulate it properly and have it translate as profoundly as its meant. I had to feel it fully to express it properly. I think you can feel that in the music, not just with this one but throughout the entire album. Every song comes from a very personal place. Each has their own voice and story. With this album it gives those things a place to live which seems a bit ironic considering the title.”

Portlandista kotoisin oleva yhtye, jonka perusti Michael Priest (Gone In April, Idolatrous, ex-Boudica), julkaisi omakustanteisesti kolmen kappaleen EP:n vuonna 2024. Kyseinen EP teki vaikutuksen M-Theory Audio -levy-yhtiön perustajaan Marco Barbieriin, joka tunnisti Old Moonin vision ja potentiaalin. Hän seurasi yhtyeen kehitystä sen rakentaessa kokoonpanoaan, keikkaillessa ja äänittäessä lopulta täyspitkän albumin, joka varmisti sopimuksen levy-yhtiön kanssa.
