Overkillin tavoitteena saada uusi albumi ulos ensi vuonna

Yhdysvaltalaisen thrash metalin veteraanin Overkillin vokalisti Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth on tehnyt hiljattain videohaastattelun Skullsnbones.com:n kanssa, jossa mieheltä on kysytty yhtyeen tulevaisuuden suunnitelmista seuraavan albumin suhteen. Bobby on haastattelussa kertonut, että yhtyeen tarkoituksena on aloittaa kirjoittamaan kappaleita vuoden 2016 alussa sillä seurauksella, että albumin olisi tarkoitus tulla kauppoihin lokakuussa 2016. “We’re shooting for October of 2016, I mean that’s ‘release date time.’ We’re going to start demoing stuff come early next year. We’re gonna go to South America first ’cause we just like doing that, it’s just fun—it’s off the hook down there. Then we have a tour through the UK and one special show we’re gonna do in Germany.

But during that process stuff will be being recorded and being written and rewritten. It’s never this distinct timeline process for us. It’s kind of like ‘ok let’s start’ and then all the shit we’ve collected since “White Devil Armory” just starts showing itself, it starts coming out. You know we planted the seeds so now you see the leaves coming out of the ground.
