Poliisi erotettiin noustuaan lavalle Vital Remainssin kanssa Floridassa

Yhdysvaltalainen death metal -yhtye Vital Remains esiintyi viime viikonloppuna Floridassa osana Yhdysvaltojen kiertuettaan. Youtubeen on eksynyt video, jossa Sanfordin poliisissa työskentelevä yhtyeen fani Andrew Ricks on noussut bändin kanssa lavalle vetämään ”Dechristianize” -nimisen kappaleen alkua, jossa lauletaan ”let the killing begin”. Sanfordin poliisilaitos ei ole asiaa täysin hyväksynyt vaan Andrew Ricks on saanut tapauksen johdosta potkut. Poliisilaitos on kommentoinut tapausta seuraavasti:

“An incident of this nature erodes the thin fibers of trust which already exist between the community and the police and it will not tolerated within the Sanford Police Department.”
