Promoottori varasti Destructionilta kitaran Meksikossa

Thrash metal-yhtye Destructionin parhaillaan käynnissä oleva Meksikon kiertue ei ole sujunut parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla, sillä yhtye tiedottaa facebook-sivuillaan, että yksi kiertueen promoottoreista olisi varastanut kitaristi Mike Sifringerin kitaran hotellista. Yhtye on saanut kitaran takaisin, mutta kertoo olevansa edelleen shokissa tapahtuneesta, sillä kyseinen promoottori oli mm. kantanut asetta mukanaan. Lisäksi yksi kiertueen esiintymisistä Queretarossa piti peruuttaa kokonaan turvallisuussyistä. Destruction suuntaa seuraavaksi Pohjois-Amerikan kiertueelle yhdessä Sepulturan kanssa. The guitar got stolen from the hotel . Fact. Now the thief tries to spread lies. The guitar is the most important thing that s why we would have never forgotten it anywhere!!! That s why we carry it in a carry-on-bag and don t put it in a flightcase on planes etc
The promoter stole it from the hotel storage!!! He carried a gun!!!
After the FB shitstormed the guy he called crying we should take his name off and we would give us the guitar back!
So we sent somebody to meet with him and get the guitar back.
This guy is full of lies – he tries to save his ass now with more lies.
We can not believe all this is really happening …there are borders!!!
STEALING AND CARRING WEAPONS TO THREATHEN BANDS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH METAL!!! WE ARE ALL IN SHOCK!!!

Due to a risk of health and safety, the show tonight in Queretaro had to be cancelled! No need to be offended anyone- this was for the health of fans and the band!
With the experience of some thousand concerts, we know how what it takes, but contracts were broken and safety disrespected.
The band s very sorry about this and offers everyone with a ticket for tonight’s concert a free entrance into tomorrows show in LEON!
DESTRUCTION travelled all day to play this concert and we are very disappointed about this, but safety comes first. We thank you for your understanding!
