Shotgun Mistressiltä uusi single ja video ”Collide”

Death metal -kitaristina tunnetun Matt Wilcockin (The Berzerker, Akercocke, Abramelin) vuonna 2018 perustama rockyhtye Shotgun Mistress on julkaissut kolmannen singlensä ”Collide”. Kokoonpanossa Wilcockin rinnalla soittavat rumpali ”Diamond” David Lee, basisti Ben Curnow (Earth) ja laulaja Glenn Patrick (Collegians). Aiemmin tänä vuonna Shotgun Mistress julkaisi singlet ”Glorious Machine” ja ”Save Me From Myself”, ja toistaiseksi nimettömän debyyttialbumin on luvattu saapuvan alkuvuodesta 2021. Wilcock kuvailee Shotgun Mistressin musiikkia:

”High octane rock n’ roll, there’s a bit of heavy metal in there and also maybe a bit of a pop music vibe in there, but to keep it simple: we’re a rock band, and when there’s an opportunity to stand on the bar instead of the stage to do a guitar solo, that’s where we’ll be.”
