Yhdysvaltalaisen metalliyhtye Slipknotin vokalisti Corey Taylor on antanut hiljattain EMP Invasionille videohaastattelun, jossa Coreylta on kysytty miehen hiljattaisesta halustaan työskennellä räppäri Eminemin kanssa. Corey on haastattelussa sanonut todella toivovansa saada työskennellä Eminemin kanssa mutta listaa myös muita räppäreitä kuten Dr. Dre:n, Ice Cuben sekä Jay-Z:n joiden kanssa haluaisi tehdä joskus yhteistyötä. ”I’ve always wanted to work with Em. Man, he’s just… he’s phenomenal. He’s a great artist, a great rapper, a great producer, a great writer. I mean, he’s amazing; I love him. But he’s not the only one I wanna work with. I would love to work with Jay-Z, [Ice] Cube, [Dr.] Dre. I would love to do something in that world that is with people who I look up to, and I look up to all those guys. So I would love to work with Em, if I had the chance, ’cause I think he and I could really trade some cool stuff back and forth. On the other side of that, though, I really would love to work with Trent Reznor [NINE INCH NAILS] and do something really, really gnarly with him, ’cause he’s just a genius. So I’ve still got a whole list of people who I would love to work with. Some are friends who I’m actually gonna do some stuff with this year, and some guys I’ve never met before. If the opportunity presents itself, hopefully, I’ll get to do something. But if not, it’s still something to aim for.”
”[Doing something with] Dre would be really cool. I have so much respect for him, especially after seeing the ’Straight Outta Compton’ movie. That movie is so good; it’s amazing. So good. And I knew it was going to be, ’cause, I mean, I was a huge N.W.A. fan when I was growing up, so I was, like, ’I really wanna see it.’ And it blew me away. It exceeded my expectations. It was so good, man. It was so real. Cast well. It didn’t hold anything back. And it was just so good, man. It deserved all the accolades that it got.”
