Soilwork ottamassa askeleen raskaampaan suuntaan tulevalla albumilla

Ruotsalaisen metallia soittavan Soilworkin rumpali Dirk Verbeuren on osallistunut hiljattain bändin levy-yhtiön Nuclear Blastin järjestämään fanien keskiseen keskusteluun, jossa mies on kuvaillut yhtyeen parhaillaan studiossa nauhoittamaa albumia. Mies on kertonut bändin tulevan albumin tulevan alustavasti ulos syksyllä 2015 ja sen tulevan sisältämään ”raskaampaa” sekä ”synkempää” materiaalia kuin yhtyeen edellinen ”The Living Infinite” albumi. ”I would say it’s both darker and heavier, in my opinion — at least what I’ve heard from it. Bear in mind that I’ve only heard pretty much raw demos. I haven’t heard many vocals at all, I haven’t heard many keyboards. When we work with the songs, they kind of take life as we record them. As I’m the first guy who always starts with the recording — ’cause we begin with drums — I usually don’t see the full picture until everybody else comes out of the studio. And they’re in it right now, so… But, yeah, I think the album has a pretty dark undertone. There’s some really different things on it, and then there’s some really typical SOILWORK things on it. So, yeah, I think it’s gonna turn out really good. I’m really excited about it.”
