The Crescent tiedottaa tulevaisuudestaan: jatkaa toimintaansa uudella nimellä ja kokoonpanolla

Kotimaisen black metal -yhtye Enochian Crescentin raunioille perustettu The Crescent on ilmoittanut toimivansa tulevaisuudessa uuden nimen ja kokoonpanon voimin. Yhtyeen mukaan 2013 ilmestyneen ”Risti”-debyyttialbumin kokoonpanosta on jäljellä ainoastaan perustajajäsen Viktor ja näin ollen on uuden muodonmuutoksen aika. The Crescentin tämänviikkoiset keikat ruotsalaisen IXXI:n kanssa toteutuvat kokoonpanon muutoksesta huolimatta ja yhtyeen tiedotteen aiheesta voit lukea tästä:

”From Enochian Crescent to The Crescent to ???? Crescent. Change is inevitable and most often a must in order to survive and fight on to a new day. As you can see there are some live dates coming up next weekend. Even though the name on the bill reads  ”The Crescent” the truth is that from the ”Risti” album recording line up only Viktor will be onstage. As the metamorphosis to the 3rd Crescentian incarnation progresses a new name for the whole will be announced. Why the change? – None of your business, dear. Who are the new members? – You will see. What will you be playing? – Songs from the Enochian Crescent/The Crescent catalogue written or co-written by Viktor. New songs coming out? – One day.”
