The Dead Daisies julkaisee ”The Lockdowns Sessions” -EP:n tulevana perjantaina

Monikansallinen rock-yhtye The Dead Daisies on julkaisemassa tällä viikolla uuden ”The Lockdown Sessions” -EP:n. EP:llä on kuultavissa neljä akustista kappaletta, ja se julkaistaan digitaalisessa muodossa Steamhammerin kautta.

Yhtye tarjoilee nyt maistiaista EP:ltä ”30 Days In The Hole” –kappaleen muodossa, jonka voit ottaa kuunteluun alta. Kappaleen on alun perin esittänyt englantilainen rock-yhtye Humble Pie. Yhtyeen tälle vuodelle kaavaileman ”Holy Ground” -albumin julkaisu on puolestaan lykätty ensi vuoden tammikuulle.

”With the world slowly easing out of lockdown, one song feels almost autobiographical in its title. ’30 Days in the Hole’, originally recorded by Humble Pie in 1972 gives a pretty accurate description of how most of us have felt over the past few months. To celebrate taking our first steps back to some kind of normality, we have recorded a killer stripped back version featuring Glenn and Doug. You can hear this bone-shaker of a track before the release of our latest EP, ’The Lockdown Sessions’. Let’s all climb out of this lockdown hole, put on some music, turn it up to 10 and lets ROCK again!”
