Unearth julkaisee seuraavan albuminsa toukokuussa: Uusi kappale ”Mother Betrayal” kuunneltavissa
Yhdysvaltalainen metalcore-yhtye Unearth on julkaisemassa seuraavan ”The Wretched; The Ruinous” -nimisen albuminsa toukokuun 5. päivä. Yhtyeen tulevalta albumilta on nyt julkaistu toisena singlenä kuunneltavaksi kappale nimeltä ”Mother Betrayal”, josta yhtyeen laulaja Trevor Phipps kertoo seuraavaa:
”’Mother Betrayal’ is an ominous banger heavily laden with the melodic death metal, thrash and metallic hardcore combination that has signified our sound since the beginning. It kicks up the aggression and ferocity beyond previous recordings while also veering into new territories musically, vocally and structurally. ’Mother Betrayal’ is a warning that we are smashing past multiple ecological tipping points caused by our dependence on fossil fuels that will forever alter life on our planet.”
Unearthin tulevan albumin on tuottanut Will Putney (Body Count, Thy Art Is Murder) ja se on järjestyksessään yhtyeen kahdeksas. Levy tulee olemaan bändille ensimmäinen ilman kitaristi Ken Susia, joka jätti yhtyeen vuonna 2022. Trevor Phipps kertoi Ken Susin lähdöstä lehdistötiedotteessa seuraavaa:
