Viiden vuoden tauko on päättynyt: Akercocke tekee paluun

Britannian nimekkäin satanistista death metallia soittava Akercocke on tekemässä paluuta viiden vuoden hiljaiselon jälkeen. Yhtye on parhaillaan kirjoittamassa järjestyksessään kuudetta ”Renaissance in Extremis” -nimistä albumiaan, jonka julkaisua kaavaillaan syksylle 2016. Yhtyeen laulaja Jason Mendonca on julkaissut aiheeseen liittyen seuraavanlaisen tiedotteen:

”The time is right and the time is now.

”We’ve been back to the woodshed, writing a host of new songs that have progressed our aesthetic forward again. We are loving the creative process and are humbled by the response from our fans concerning our musical return.
