Woland työstämässä uutta materiaalia

Suomalainen post black metal -yhtye Woland on siirtynyt studioon työstämään materiaalia uutta albumia varten. Vielä nimeämättömän albumin soittimet ovat jo lähes kaikki nauhoitettu ja vokaalit hoidetaan elokuussa. Lue lisää nähdäksesi bändin vokalistin kommentit albumista.

We are currently working in our guitarist LXIV’s own studio, west of Helsinki. Most of the drum parts are done, as well as the bass and big parts of the guitars. The plan is to have the basics done by July so we can start the vocal recordings in August. Having a private and yet modern location where to conduct the recordings gives us a lot of freedom to experiment with different technologies and ways of production, so we are taking our time.

We will have some great guest musicians on the album for which we may need to re-locate a bit, but I don’t want to give out any spoilers yet. All in all I’m personally very enthusiastic with this album. While my work in black metal so far has mostly been about the grit, dirt and uglyness, this is the perfect moment to show the other side of the same coin.
