Yhdysvaltalainen pop punkkia soittava Yellowcard on postittanut verkkoon virallisen muistoviestin liittyen No Use For A Name vokalistin Tony Slyn hiljattaiseen kuolemaan. Lue lisää nähdäksesi yhtyeen viesti sekä yhtyeen Tony Slyn kunniaksi coveroima No Use For A Name kappale ”Chasing Rainbows”.

Two days ago the world of music we grew up in suffered a terrible loss. Tony Sly, lead singer and guitarist of the band No Use For a Name, was taken from us at the age of 41. No Use was a huge inspiration for us. They took us on one of our first full US tours in 2002. Their music shaped so much of Yellowcard’s sound early on. We just can’t believe he’s gone. We tried to do our best to show how much Tony and the band meant to us by playing a No Use For a Name song yesterday at the Milwaukee Warped Tour stop. We chose the song ”Chasing Rainbows”, a collective favorite of ours. You can watch a video of the performance at the link below. Thanks for your music, Tony. Rest easy, bud.
