L.A. Gunsissa sekä W.A.S.P.:ssa vaikuttanut rumpali Steve Riley on kuollut
Uransa aikana mm. W.A.S.P.:ssa sekä L.A. Gunsissa soittanut rumpali Steve Riley on kuollut 67 vuoden iässä. Rileyn kuoleman on vahvistanut tämän perhe Blabbermouth.net:lle kertoen rumpalin menehtyneen keuhkokuumeen seurauksena. Voit lukea viestin tästä:
”We are devastated to share that Steve Riley has passed away at the age of 67. Steve had been battling a severe case of pneumonia for several weeks, and on Tuesday, Oct. 24, succumbed to the illness. His wife Mary Louise and son Cole were by his side in his final moments.”

As much as he loved being on the road, nothing brought him more joy than coming home to his family.”

Steve Riley liittyi W.A.S.P.:n riveihin vuonna 1984 ja ehti soittaa yhtyeessä kaiken kaikkiaan kolmen vuoden ajan soittaen bändin neljällä ensimmäisellä albumilla. W.A.S.P.:in jälkeen Riley liittyi vuonna 1987 L.A. Gunsiin ja soitti yhtyeessä aina vuoteen 1992 asti jolloin sai potkut yhtyeestä. Laulaja Phil Lewis ja kitaristi Tracii Guns kokosivat vuonna 2016 uuden L.A. Guns -kokoonpanon ilman Rileytä ja tästä koitui lopulta oikeustaistelu, joka saatiin päätökseen salin ulkopuolella vuonna 2021. Riley esiintyi uransa viimeisinä vuosina Riley’s L.A. Guns -nimen alla.
