Suicide Silencen fanit keräävät vetoomuksen estääkseen bändiä julkaisemasta uutta levyään

Yleensä muusikoiden fanit odottavat innolla suosikkibändinsä uuden materiaalin julkaisua, mutta toisin kävi yhdysvaltalaiselle deathcore -yhtye Suicide Silencelle.
Yhtyeen fanit ovat saaneet kahden kappaleen verran esimakua tulevasta albumista, eivätkä suurin osa ole siitä innoissaan. Yhtyeen on tarkoitus julkaista omaa nimeään kantava albumi helmikuun 24. päivä Nuclear Blastin kautta.

Aiemmin julkaistuihin ”Doris”- sekä ”Silence” -kappaleisiin pettyneet fanit aloittivat eilen vetoomuksen, jonka tarkoituksena on estää tulevan levyn julkaisu. Uutisoinnin hetkellä vetoomuksessa on lähes 1000 nimeä.

Vetoomuksen allekirjoittaneista osa on perustellut miksi ei halua bändiltä uutta albumia. Osa kommenteista on luettavissa alla:

“The new material is an insult to the bands legacy. I dig nu metal, i grew up on it, but Suicide Silence have not been able to pull this off and the result is a sloppy sounding pile of garbage and before i get slated by one of the band members saying “we dont make music to please you guys, we make music to please ourselves” or ” you guys are just so used to polished recordings”. Wrong, I love a raw recording, when what the band is doing complaments it.”

”It’s just a plain disgrace.
It’s dragging the name of a band I once considered ”Legends”.
Now they’ve threw away what they were best at and basically said fuck you to their entire long existing loving fan base to say ”yeah… fuck you guys we don’t really give a shit what you want.”

Either change the name or stay true to your roots!
