Stone Sour 2015Yhdysvaltalainen metallia soittava Stone Sour juhlistaa “Come What(ever) May” -albuminsa 10-vuotisjuhlavuotta julkaisemalla demo-versioita levyn kappaleista, ja on nyt ladannut ”Your God”, ”Reborn”- ja ”Scars” -kappaleet kuunneltavaksi Facebookissa. Uudet demot ovat kuunneltavissa alta, kun taas aiemmin julkaistut “Sillyworld“- ja “Hell & Consequenses” löydät täältä. “Drama Cyst” on kuunneltavissa linkin takaa. Nokkamies Corey Taylor kommentoi ”Your God” -kappaletta seuraavasti:

“This song had been around a long time. I always thought it could use something a little more. Turned out with a little rearranging and a good chorus, we nailed it!”

Kitaristi Josh Rand jatkaa:

“We recorded this version in 2005. Notice the third verse, there are also no guitar solos on this take.”

Rand kommentoi ”Reborn”-kappaletta seuraavasti:

”I wrote this song on the bus while we were still touring the first album. Then sometime in 2004, I went back to Catamount Recording studios in Iowa (that’s where the 1st Stone Sour album was recorded) to demo this and some of the other tracks I’d written over the course of the year.
There is no demo in existence with Corey’s vocals because the first time he sang to the song, was during the recording sessions for Come Whatever May.”

Taylor kertoo ”Scars”-kappaleesta seuraavaa:

“Scars was a song that was actually an older song that we had written back in ’95, and lyrically it was basically a road map of where I’d been. Basically kind of a statement saying that not all scars are visible, not all scars are on the surface. A lot of scars sit underneath. A lot of scars are emotional and psychological. It’s basically me showing the world where I’d come from. It’s funny because that song means more to me now than when I first wrote it. There’s a lot more on the body than there were a long time ago, dude. Yeah, that’s where the music and the song came from.”
